Who is Angus Moss?
I am a Chartered Building Surveyor, a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). My Diploma Number is 86367, having qualified in 1991. My practice is registered with the RICS, number 041794 and I am also an RICS registered valuer, for residential properties only.
I have worked in construction and property for over 30 years, including working in the building trades. This has helped me to understand how buildings are constructed and how they can fail. I have also worked for a number of surveying practices in Greater London, gaining a wide experience of types of buildings, as well as the various services required by clients. From 2001 to 2006 I worked for a leading national firm of chartered surveyors, providing mortgage valuations and residential surveys in and around Herts, Beds, Bucks and Cambs.
These experiences have armed me with the knowledge required to tackle most buildings for assessment, appraisal and report accordingly, providing reliable information and advice to customers. The price of an average survey can quickly be recouped by the potential cost of defects that may have gone un-noticed.
As an independent sole practitioner, I provide surveying services, reports and advice to private individuals, businesses and also as a consultant to other surveying practices. I am not connected to any estate agents, financial institutions or brokers.
I work with Helen Driver, who administers my office and diary. Helen has worked for a large national firm of chartered surveyors for over 10 years and knows the industry well.
