Chartered Surveyors are trained in a wide range of services. Some additional services which may be of assistance are listed below:-
• Defects analysis, to establish the cause or nature of defects in buildings, such as damp, cracks, decay etc.
• Reports on cracking or structural movement for the initial stages of a buildings insurance claim,
..or in the process of purchasing a property.
• Specific defects reports, where a Chartered Building Surveyor's opinion has been asked for,
..for example in a Mortgage Valuation report.
• Reports upon the quality of building works, where a dispute arises between a client and builder.
• The preparation of Reinstatement Cost Assessments of residential properties, for insurance purposes.
